Our Vision
We did not set out to change the world, but along the way we found out…we just might. No, we are not a group of genius think-tank types, however, we are thoughtful, concerned, and connected professionals who have never shied away from programs others said were just too big to take on.
We started out wanting to redesign the logistics of online fulfillment here in the United States, and looking back, that was very lofty indeed. Fortunately, along the way, we met folks from one of the worlds largest global shipping companies and found that they too wanted to reduce time, touches and costs all while also reducing their carbon emissions footprint and fossil fuel consumption in order to be a more socially responsible mega company.
Our Mission
Yürdor has a mission to help our clients, both large and small, be digitally focused, environmentally concerned, client-centric, and, in the end, deliver products safer and faster while doing it with up to 80% fewer human interactions.
We intend to succeed in our mission by continuing to focus on using SPACE Platforms as our core product delivery container for our clients, who in turn can use our routing optimization software, or their own, to load them from ports to porches.
The universal size of SPACE Platforms allow them to be used seamlessly to load from vendor locations to worldwide port locations and then into railroad cars or semi-truck trailers.
If a stop for warehousing is needed from world ports to local cities, the same SPACE Platforms can be stacked up to four high in warehouses, without any additional racking needed.
The very same SPACE Platforms are used for loading into our small delivery vans for last miles deliveries to customers throughout the U.S., and in time, other worldwide locations.
SPACE Platforms eliminate the use of wooden pallets, which reduces deforestation and buildup in landfills. With the wooden pallets demise, the need for plastic stretch wrap previously used to hold packages on pallets goes too. This eliminates another one-time use material, that also ends up in landfills with no chance of decomposing…even after decades of burial.
